LYRICS
_______________
Baby I've been waiting for so long
I've been losing my head for years and I've
been down in the gutter
doing time for loving you
but did you really mean to break my heart
after all that we've been through and did you
really mean to make me cry
why did you do the things you did to me
don't leave me

Crying on your porch
don't leave me waiting here in the cold
crying on your porch
don't leave me waiting here in the cold cold rain again

Ask me for a dance I'm tired of waiting for romance
why won't you take my hand take a stand
take me by the hand and guide me
to the paradise take a look in my eyes
tie up the ties that bind
oh no, what for, is it love is it life
is a heart worth breaking love worth making

Don't leave me waiting here in the cold
crying on your porch
don't leave me waiting here in the cold cold rain again

Will you take me to that special place
where the sun is cold and the rain is hot
where we'd live in perfect harmony
would you tell me you will love me for a lifetime
for ever and ever

And now you've found somebody else
to make you happy now
will I ever be able to sleep at night and
will I ever be happy again
don't leave me
open up and let me in

Don't leave me waiting here in the cold
crying on your porch
don't leave me waiting here in the cold cold rain again
crying on your porch
